Accessory (Sunroof) Delay Relay Shorted Hi

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove sunroof delay relay from junction block. See Figure. Using DVOM, measure resistance between terminals No. 85 and 86 on sunroof delay relay. See Fig 1. If resistance is 65-85 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is less than 65 ohms or greater than 85 ohms, replace relay. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. Remove Body Control Module (BCM) from junction block. See Figure. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between ground and BCM junction block connector terminal No. 3. See Figure. If no voltage is present, go to next step. If voltage is present, replace junction block. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  3. Replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
