Description & Operation: Notes
All models use collapsible steering columns. All columns have integral ignition switch and locking device. Optional tilt wheel is available with both A/T and M/T models. All models are equipped with driver-side air bag. Steering columns are serviced only as an assembly, except for steering wheel, switches and wiring. See OVERHAUL .
WARNING:
To avoid injury from accidental air bag deployment, read and follow all service precautions. Deactivate air bag system before performing any repairs. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
