Diagnosis & Testing: Notes

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are stored in Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) memory. DTCs are cleared using DRB-III scan tool or automatically cleared after 255 ignition on-off cycles. CAB will retain DTCs with ignition off or if battery is disconnected. CAB can store more than one DTC at a time and will display the number of ignition cycles since most recent DTC was stored.

Warning light is turned off when system fault is corrected and ABS operation is restored.
