Information Center Test 4C - Rear Lamp Failure Message
NOTE:
Perform INFORMATION CENTER TEST 4A
before proceeding. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
and WIRING DIAGRAM and DOOR LOCKS - POWER & KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM
article. Perform TEST VER-1A
after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector. Ensure all connectors are clean and tight.
Lamp outage module will cause information center to display a REAR LAMP FAILURE message if an incorrect bulb is installed. Inspect all light bulbs for correct application. See vehicle owner's manual for correct bulb number. Replace bulb(s) as needed. If all bulbs are correct, replace lamp outage module.
