Power Door Lock Test 2A - One Door Fails To Lock & Unlock

NOTE: Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1A  before proceeding. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAM. See KEYLESS ENTRY & POWER DOOR LOCKS article. Perform TEST VER-1A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector. Ensure all connectors are clean and tight.
  1. If left front door does not operate, go to POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 2B  . If left front door operates, disconnect inoperative door lock motor connector. Using test light, probe door lock motor connector Black/White wire. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, actuate door lock relay. If test light does not flash when door lock relay is actuated, repair open in Black/White wire. If test light flashes when door lock relay is actuated, go to next step.
  3. Using test light, probe door lock motor connector Pink/Black wire. Actuate door unlock relay. If test light does not flash when door unlock relay is actuated, repair open Pink/Black wire. If test light flashes when door unlock relay is actuated, replace door lock motor.
