Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch

  1. Disconnect PSP switch connector. Switch is located in power steering high-pressure hose, near pump. Connect an ohmmeter between PSP switch terminals. Ensure wires do not interfere with fan blade and fan belt.
  2. With engine off, continuity should not exist. Start engine and allow it to idle. Continuity should not exist until steering wheel is turned to left or right. If continuity is not as specified, replace PSP switch.
