Description & Operation: Notes

The cruise control system is electronically controlled and vacuum operated. The electronic control is integrated into the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) located next to the battery. System consists of the following components: PCM, servo, cruise control switch panel, vacuum reservoir, vehicle speed sensor, brakelight switch and Park/Neutral switch (automatic transmission). System controls consist of ON/OFF, RESUME/ACCEL and SET/DECEL buttons. System controls are located on the steering wheel pad.
