Test 75A - Doors Fail To Unlock From One Switch

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  in this article. For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  section at the end of this article. Perform TEST VER-1B  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition off. Gain access to inoperative door lock switch. Remove door unlock relay (third relay from right, bottom row) from micro relay center, located behind center console. Go to next step.
  2. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance of Pink/Violet wire between door unlock relay connector and door lock switch. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Pink/Violet wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace door lock switch.
