Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
Observe scan tool screen for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Read and note DTCs displayed. Perform corresponding procedure/test indicated in INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES table.
