Test 37C - Checking For Short In Seat Belt Warning Light CKT

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article in this section.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Blue Body Control Module (BCM) connector. BCM is located behind center console. Check connector, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1B  . If connector is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition on. If seat belt warning light is off, replace BCM. Perform TEST VER-1B  . If seat belt warning light is on, repair short to ground in seat belt switch output circuit (Dark Blue/Red wire). Perform TEST VER-1B  .
