Test 15C - Diagnosing Blank Screen/Buttons On Compass/Mini-Trip Module

CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Reconnect compass/mini-trip module connectors. Disconnect compass/mini-trip module 5-pin button assembly connector. See Fig 1 . Check connector, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1B  . If connector is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition on. Momentarily connect a jumper wire between compass/mini-trip module 5-pin button assembly terminals No. 1 and No. 2. If compass/mini-trip screen is still blank, replace compass/mini-trip module. Perform TEST VER-1B. If compass/mini-trip screen is not blank, replace button assembly. Perform TEST VER-1B.
