Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS)

The CTS monitors engine coolant temperature. Sensor is mounted in intake manifold, next to thermostat housing. PCM uses coolant temperature information to adjust air/fuel mixture and idle speed and to control cooling fans as necessary.
