Power Seats: Description

Jeep power seats can be adjusted six ways; up, down, forward, backward, tilt forward and tilt backward. The control switch is located on the left lower side of the drivers seat. The switch has three levers; the middle lever raises or lowers the complete seat, as well as moving it forward or rearward. The two side levers raise or lower the front and back of the seat. A permanent magnet reversible motor is connected by cables to rack and pinion assemblies located in the seat tracks. The circuit is protected by a 30 amp. circuit breaker on the fuse block.
