NGI - IMC UPDATE FAILS ON SDD DUE TO FAILED TO OPEN FLASH FILE ERROR

ISSUE
Global Diagnostic Support (GDS) have identified a concern where the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) fails to complete a software update. The detail of the concern is detailed below:
- After the NDU update via the USB flash Drive has completed, SDD reports 'Failed to open the required flash file(s)'
CAUSE
The affected software file installed or downloaded on their machine is incomplete or corrupted.
PERMANENT CORRECTIVE ACTION
The Permanent Corrective Action (PCA) has now been released within NGI_Supporting_Files_v2.exe install contained within NGI Supporting and Speech Database Files_v2.zip which is available via the TOPIx links page.
To install the PCA, complete the instructions carefully.
- Login into TOPIx
- Download 'NGI Supporting and Speech Database Files_v2.zip' to the machine desktop
- Right Click on the zip file and select Extract All
- Open the extracted NGI Supporting and Speech Database Files_v2 folder.
- Open the SDD-NGI_Speech Install folder
- Select NGI_Supporting_Files_v2.exe and complete the install

NOTE: We would recommend installing Speech_Database_Files_v2.exe too
