Anti-Lock Brake System Control Module (G2172301): Installation

- Install the ABS module to the mounting bracket.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
Torque : 9 Nm

CAUTION: Make sure the ABS module locating grommet is correctly seated in the bracket before installing the ABS module.
Install the ABS module.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
Torque : 9 Nm

WARNING: Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.
Connect the brake pipes.
Torque : 14 Nm
- Secure the brake pipes.

WARNING: Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.
Connect the ABS module electrical connector.

WARNING: Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.
Connect the brake pipes.
Torque : 17 Nm

NOTE: Make sure that the component is correctly located.
Install the battery tray support.
Torque
M6: 10 Nm
M8: 25 Nm
- Secure the heater hose support bracket.
- Secure the brake booster vacuum line in its clip.
- Secure the wiring harness with the clip.
- Connect the electrical connectors to the ECM.
- Install the cowl panel.
Refer to: COWL PANEL .
- Install the startup battery tray.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY TRAY .
- Bleed the brake system.
Refer to: BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING .
- If a new component has been installed, configure using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
