Powertrain Control Module

The PCM is installed in the rear left corner of the engine compartment.

The PCM has the capability of modifying its fuel and ignition control outputs in response to several sensor inputs.

The PCM receives inputs from the following:

• Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor
• Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor (4 off)
• Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (2 off)
• Knock sensors (2 off)
• Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor
• Mass Air Flow and Temperature (MAFT) sensor (2 off)
• Manifold Absolute Pressure and Temperature (MAPT) sensor
• Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensor
• Heated Oxygen sensor (HO2S) (6 off)
• Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) sensor
• Fuel Rail Pressure and Temperature (FRPT) sensor
