Front Electronic Module (FEM) - Removal and Installation: Removal

    CAUTION: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to the Jaguar approved diagnostic system. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. Refer to Module Configuration .
    CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery, Mounting and Cables .
  2. Remove the left-hand side trim panel. Refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation .

  3. Reposition the floor covering.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  5. Remove the front electronic module (FEM).
