Fuel System Pressure Release

  1. Open trunk. Locate and disconnect fuel pump relay in right front corner of trunk. Relay is front-most relay (Black relay/Violet stripe with Green connector).
  2. On XJR, open hood. Remove heated second fuel pump relay from battery cover relay block. (Blue relay with Yellow connector).
  3. On all models, start engine and let idle until engine stalls. Turn ignition off. Install fuel pump relay(s).
