ISSUE & TIP

Recently we had an 1981 Jaguar towed in and found defective ignition amplifier. We decided to look inside the amplifier and to our surprise we found a number 1906 GM module and a capacitor for noise reduction inside a $164 metal box.

We replaced the $28 dollar module with a GM replacement part and the vehicle was fine. A lot of parts mark up! This part was installed on all 1976-86 Jaguar XJ-6 and XJ-S models.
