Circuit Description
The throttle position (TP) sensor circuit provides a voltage signal relative to throttle position (blade angle).
The throttle blade angle will vary about 0.5 volt at closed throttle to about 4.23 volt at wide open throttle position (angle).
The acceleration position (AP) sensor circuit provides a voltage signal relative to acceleration position.
The acceleration pedal angle will vary about 0.65 volt at idle position to about 4.35 volt at wide open throttle position (angle).
This code is one of the limp home modes to be set when ETC (Electrical Throttle System) has the fault, when more than two TPS faults or one of P1518, P1519, P1515, P1517, P1520, P1521, P1516 are detected or the fault of ETC motor is detected, DTC P1299 will be set. Once this code is set, the system is in Engine shutdown Mode.(Fail safe mode)
