Circuit Description

Fuel level is an important input to PCM for Enhanced Evaporative System Diagnosis (EESD). PCM needs fuel level information to know the volume of fuel in tank. Fuel level input is required to gauge rate of change in air pressure in EVAP system. Several EESD sub-test are dependent upon correct fuel level information. EESD test will not be performed when fuel level is 85 percent or more or less than 15 percent (full tank).
