Conditions For Setting DTC

• No Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor or Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor DTCs are stored.
• Barometer (BARO) pressure is 70 kPa or more.
• Ignition voltage is between 11V and 16V.
• The test start within 6 minutes after engine started.
• The test is complete within 2 minutes after tank vacuum drawn.
• Fuel level is between 15 percent and 85 percent.

For Cold Condition

• Start-up engine coolant temperature and start-up intake air temperature are 39-93°F (4-34°C).
• The value of start-up engine coolant temperature is minus start-up intake air temperature, temperature is below 13°F (7°C).
• The value for start-up intake air temperature minus start-up engine coolant is below 54°F (12°C).
• The absolute value of the difference for start-up intake air temperature and current intake air temperature is below 54°F (12°C).

For Idle Condition

• Engine speed is less than 1200 RPM.
• Vehicle speed is less than 3 MPH (5 km/h).
• Throttle position is less than 3 percent.
• The vapor pressure sensor signal voltage is less than zero volt (8 in. H20) for 2 minutes.

For Running Condition

• Not met above idle condition.
• The vapor pressure sensor signal voltage is less than about zero volt (10.1 in. H20) for 2 minutes.
