Service Procedure

Detaching

  1. Thoroughly clean the area around the connectors to avoid any contamination of the fuel lines.
  2. Remove the top connector (return line connector) first by firmly pushing on the metal portion of the connector towards the rear of the vehicle (towards the plastic piece). While applying pressure on the metal portion push forward on the plastic portion and slide the connector off the fuel pipe.
  3. Disconnect the lower connector (feed line) following the same procedure.

Attaching

  1. Before re-attaching the quick release connectors, be sure the connecting surfaces are clean and free from dirt.
  2. Re-attach the top fuel line (return line) and connector first.
  3. Align the center of the pipe into the connector and slide them together until a click is heard. Once attached lightly tug on the connectors, to insure the positive lock of the quick release mechanism.
  4. Re-attach the lower fuel line (feed line) and connector using the same procedure.
IMPORTANT: Before starting the vehicle, inspect the connectors to insure they are firmly attached.
