Code 22: TPS Circuit (Signal Volt Lo): Notes
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Code 22 will set if the engine is running and TPS signal voltage is less than .2 volt for 3 seconds.
- This test simulates Code 21. If ECM recognizes the high signal voltage, ECM wiring is okay.
- This simulates a high signal voltage to check for an open circuit No. 417. What is important is that "Scan" tester recognizes the voltage change.
- There should be 5 volts at terminal "C" if measured with a voltmeter and ignition on.
