Code 14 - Coolant Temp. Sensor (Cts) High Temp. Indicated

Code No. 14 will set if signal voltage indicates coolant temperature greater than 239°F (145°F) for more than 120 seconds.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. If voltage is above 4 volts, the ECM and wiring are okay.
  2. If sensor resistance cannot be checked easily, disconnect the Black ECM connectors and check resistance between harness terminals "M2-10" and "M2-18".
