DTC Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK THE DTC
If P0102 and P0113 are detected at the same time, check power supply and ground circuit of the MAF sensor.
Is applicable DTC detected?
YES
Perform the diagnosis for power supply and ground circuit of the mass air flow sensor. GO TO 3.
NO
GO TO 2.
- CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR
- Disconnect MAF sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.
- Connect MAF sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.
- Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to Confirmation Procedure .
Is DTC detected?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
INSPECTION END
- CHECK INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Disconnect mass air flow (MAF) sensor (intake air temperature sensor is built-in) harness connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between MAF sensor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 4.
NO
Repair open circuit, short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.
- CHECK INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT FOR OPEN AND SHORT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ECM harness connector.
- Check the continuity between MAF sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

- Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 5.
NO
Repair open circuit, short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.
- CHECK INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Refer to Component Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 6.
NO
Replace mass air flow sensor (with intake air temperature sensor).
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Inspection .
