DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC P0116 is displayed with DTC P0117, or P0118, first perform the confirmation procedure for DTC P0117, or P0118.

Is DTC P0117 or P0118 detected?

YES

Perform diagnosis of applicable.
- DTC P0117: Refer to DTC Description .
- DTC P0118: Refer to DTC Description .
NO

GO TO 2.
CHECK ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR 1
Check ECT sensor 1. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

Replace ECT sensor 1. Refer to MULTI-WAY CONTROL VALVE : Exploded View .
