Warning display

An activation condition for the ICC system is not fulfilled.

Intelligent Cruise Control - - - km/h

The ICC system has been deactivated.

If it was not deactivated by the driver, warning buzzer also sounds.

Intelligent Cruise Control off

The ICC system is operational again after having been temporarily unavailable.

Driver can now reactive the ICC system.

Intelligent Cruise Control available again

The ICC system is temporarily inoperative.

Possible cause:

  • The function is impaired due to heavy rain or snow.
  • The radar sensor system is temporarily inoperative, e.g. due to electromagnetic radiation emitted by nearby TV or radio stations or other sources of electromagnetic radiation.
  • The on-board voltage is too low.

A warning buzzer also sounds.

Intelligent Cruise Control currently unavailable

When the ICC system is malfunctioning

The adaptive brake assist function is also have malfunction.

A warning buzzer also sounds.

Intelligent Cruise Control inoperative

Driver has depressed the accelerator pedal.

Intelligent Cruise Control suspended

Automatic cancellation display

  • The electric parking brake is applied
  • The VDC intervenes or the VDC is deactivated
  • The shift lever is in the P (Park), R (Reverse) or N (Neutral) position
  • The cruise control lever is pulled in order to pull away but the front passenger door or one of the rear doors is open
  • The vehicle is skidding
  • Park assist is activated
