Condition Of Searching

If all the following conditions are satisfied, BCM searches for Intelligent Key by using Outside Key Antenna (front Outside Handle LH/RH and back door). BCM has timer to search for 14 days (every 0.3 sec.). If the engine is started, the timer is reset.

Function Condition
Welcome light function
  • System setting is active.
  • All doors are closed.
  • Ignition position is OFF.
  • There is no Intelligent Key inside vehicle.
  • Shift position is the P position.
  • All doors are closed and locked (or auto lock timer is running).
