Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK FUSIBLE LINK
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check that the fusible link is not blown (open).
Signal Name Fusible Link No. Capacity Battery Power Supply M 40 A
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Replace the blown (open) fuse after replacing the affected circuit if the fuse is blown (open).
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH POWER SUPPLY 1
- Disconnect Power Window Main Switch connector.
- Check voltage between Power Window Main Switch harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage Power Window Main Switch Connector Terminal D8 4 Ground 9 - 16 V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3.
NO
GO TO STEP 5.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH POWER SUPPLY 2
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between Power Window Main Switch harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage Power Window Main Switch Connector Terminal D8 9 Ground 9 - 16 V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 7.
NO
GO TO STEP 4.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 1
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector and Power Window Main Switch harness connector.
BCM Power Window Main Switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M17 140 D8 9 Existed - Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
BCM (-) Continuity Connector Terminal M17 140 Ground Not existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 2
- Disconnect Circuit Breaker connector.
- Check voltage between Circuit Breaker harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage (V) Circuit Breaker Connector Terminal M191 1 Ground 9 - 16
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 6 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 3
Check continuity between Circuit Breaker harness connector and Power Window Main Switch harness connector.
Circuit Breaker Power Window Main Switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M191 2 D8 4 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace Circuit Breaker.
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check continuity between Power Window Main Switch harness connector and ground.
Power Window Main Switch (-) Continuity Connector Terminal D8 7 Ground Existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
INSPECTION END.
NO
Repair or replace harness.
