Direct Adaptive Steering System

CHECK FORCE MOTOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect force motor angle sensor harness connector.

Check resistance between force motor angle sensor connector pin terminals.

		25 deg. C (77 deg. F)	10.0 kOhm
		40 deg. C (140 deg. F)	5.2 kOhm

Check continuity between force motor angle sensor connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

Force motor temperature sensor is malfunction. Replace steering column assembly. Refer to STEERING COLUMN : Removal & Installation .
