Inspection Mode 6

CHANGING TO INSPECTION MODE

With CONSULT
1. Check that the following conditions are satisfied.
  NOTE:
  If deviated from the conditions, Maintenance Mode 6 is interrupted.
  1. Stop vehicle
  2. Accelerator OFF
  3. Brake ON
  4. Parking brake ON
  5. No DTC detected
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Select "CLUTCH 2 INITIAL SET UP" in "ACTIVE TEST" mode of "EV/HEV".
4. Touch "Start".
5. The system changes to inspection mode 6, and the EV indicator lamp on the combination meter blinks.
  CAUTION:
  If the work is interrupted or completed in an abnormal manner, turn the ignition switch OFF and wait at least 5 minutes until clutch temperature drops.
  NOTE:
  - Drive motor rotates at approximately 2, 500 RPM during the work procedure.
  - This work is completed in approximately 10 minutes at the maximum.
6. Set the vehicle to READY with the selector lever at the R position.
7. The hybrid system warning lamp on the combination meter blinks.
8. Check that the automatic processing is completed and "Completed" is displayed on the CONSULT screen.
9. Turn ignition switch OFF.
Without CONSULT
1. Check that the following conditions are satisfied.
  NOTE:
  If deviated from the conditions, Maintenance Mode 6 is interrupted.
  1. Stop vehicle
  2. Accelerator OFF
  3. Brake ON
  4. Parking brake ON
  5. No DTC detected
2. Perform the following steps within 60 seconds.
  1. Turn ignition switch ON with the selector lever at the P position.
  2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, then fully release it 7 times.
  3. While depressing the brake pedal, shift the select lever to the N position.
  4. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, then fully release it 7 times.
  5. While depressing the brake pedal, shift the select lever to the P position.
  6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, then fully release it 7 times.
3. The system changes to inspection mode 6, and the EV indicator lamp on the combination meter blinks.
