DTC Detection Logic

NOTE:
  • If DTC P31FF is displayed with DTC UXXXX, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC UXXXX. Refer to "DTC INDEX ".
  • If DTC P31FF is displayed with DTC P0A1D, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC P0A1D. Refer to "DTC LOGIC ".
DTC No. Trouble diagnosis name (Trouble diagnosis content) DTC detecting condition Possible cause
P31FF ASCD VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (ASCD vehicle speed sensor) Vehicle speed signal for ASCD is out of the specified range.
  • Harness or connectors (CAN communication line is open or shorted.)
  • Combination meter
  • Wheel sensor
  • ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)
  • TCM
