Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT FUSE (RAD NO. 1, ACC)
- Disconnect the ACC fuse from the main body ECU.
- Disconnect the RAD NO. 1 fuse from the engine room junction block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition RAD NO. 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the W2 display connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition W2-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition W2-16(+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V W2-15 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see REMOVAL )
