DTC Confirmation Procedure: Notes

Perform PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION A first  .

If DTC cannot be confirmed, perform PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION B  .

NOTE:
  • If DTC P0447 is displayed with P0442, P0455, P0456, P1442 or P1456, first perform trouble diagnosis for DTC P0447.
  • If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
