NOTE:
The presence of DTCs which begin with "U" indicate some other module on Class 2 serial data line is not communicating.

If scan tool does not communicate with EBCM, go to TEST B: SCAN TOOL DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH CLASS 2 DEVICE under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Using scan tool, select DISPLAY DTCS function and retrieve any EBCM DTCs. If scan tool displays any DTCs that start with a "U", go to TEST B: SCAN TOOL DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH CLASS 2 DEVICE under SYSTEM TESTS. If scan tool does not display DTCs that start with a "U", go to next step.
- If scan tool does not display any EBCM DTCs, go to next step. If scan tool displays any EBCM DTCs, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS .
- If scan tool displays DTC C1245, repair tire pressure monitoring system as necessary. See DTC C1245: HIGH OR LOW TIRE PRESSURE . If scan tool does not display DTC C1245, repair tire pressure monitoring system by symptom. See SYSTEM TESTS .
