ID Registration With Transmitter Activation Tool

  1. With the ignition switch in OFF position, connect CONSULT-II and CONSULT-II CONVERTER to the Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  2. Select "START (NISSAN BASED VHCL)".
  3. Select "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" on "SELECT WORK ITEM" screen.
  4. Select "WORK SUPPORT" on "SELECT DIAG MODE" screen, and select "ID REGIST".
  5. With the Transmitter Activation Tool (J-45295) pushed against the front left transmitter tire air valve, press the button for 5 seconds. See Fig 1.
  6. Register the IDs in the specified order. See ID registration order specifications  table. When ID registration of each wheel has been completed, a buzzer sounds as indicated and the hazard warning light flashes.
  7. After completing all ID registrations, press "END" to complete the procedure.
    NOTE: Be sure to register the IDs in the specified order, or the self-diagnostic results display will not function properly.

    Tire Position Buzzer Will Sound
    Front Left Once
    Front Right 2 Times
    Rear Right 3 Times
    Rear Left 4 Times
