Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Start engine and let it idle. Check for intake air leak after mass airflow sensor. If leak is found, repair as necessary. If leak is not found, go to next step.
  2. Turn engine off. Replace ECM. Perform ACCELERATOR PEDAL RELEASED POSITION LEARNING procedure, THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING procedure and IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING procedure. See PROGRAMMING  .
