Ignition Switch (Start Signal)

Measure voltage between ground and PCM harness connector terminal No. 20 by backprobing. See Figure or Figure . Turn ignition switch to START position. Battery voltage should exist. With ignition switch in any other position, about zero volts should exist. If voltage is not as specified, repair ignition switch or circuit.
