DTC Confirmation

Depending on equipment available, use one of the following to set DTC:

• Using GST, start engine and idle. Wait at least 15 seconds. Select MODE 7.
• Using MIL, start engine and idle. Wait at least 15 seconds. Turn ignition off. Wait 5 seconds. Turn ignition on. Retrieve DTCs using MIL. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM in the TESTS W/CODES - INTRODUCTION article.
