ABS/TCS DTC 58: TAC Module Code 13 (Secondary TP Sensor Signal)

Disconnect TAC module connectors. Check terminals for damage or loose connections. Reconnect TAC module connectors. Repeat ABS/TCS self-diagnostic procedure. While observing dash warning indicators, turn ignition on. If SLIP and TCS OFF indicators illuminate during bulb check, system is okay. If SLIP and TCS OFF indicators do not illuminate during bulb check, go to next step.
Check secondary throttle valve operating signal circuit. Disconnect ABS/TCS control unit. Disconnect TAC module 20-pin connector. Check for continuity of Black/White wire between ABS/TCS connector terminal No. 25 and TAC module 20-pin connector terminal No. 12. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair Black/White wire as necessary.
Check for continuity between ground and TAC module 20-pin connector terminal No. 12 (Black/White wire). If continuity2 exists, repair short to ground in Black/White wire. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
Check continuity of Blue wire between ABS/TCS control unit connector terminal No. 21 and TAC module 20-pin connector terminal No. 13. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair Blue wire as necessary.
Check for continuity to ground at TAC module 20-pin connector terminal No. 13. See Figure. If continuity exists, repair Blue wire as necessary. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
Substitute a known-good TAC module. Reconnect all previously disconnected components. Perform self-diagnostic test for TAC module. See SELF-DIAGNOSIS FOR TAC MODULE. If TAC module code No. 13 still exists, check for poor connections. If TAC module code No. 13 does not exist, replace TAC module.
