DTC 14: Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)
- Check Speedometer Operation
Raise and support drive wheels. Start engine. With transaxle in gear, check speedometer operation. If speedometer exceeds 6 MPH, go to next step. If speedometer exceeds 6 MPH, repair speedometer as necessary.
- Check Input Signal Circuit
Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM harness connector and combination meter harness connector. Check harness continuity between ECM terminal No. 26 and combination meter terminal "J" (Yellow/Green wire). See Figure

. If continuity is present, testing is complete. If continuity is not present, repair harness or connectors as necessary and perform FINAL CHECK.
