Removal And Installation

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Remove the intercooler inlet pipe.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTERCOOLER ")
Disconnect the Electric Waste Gate Actuator (EWGA) connector (A).

Remove the retaining ring (A) from the electric waste gate actuator rod (B).

Remove the Electric Waste Gate Actuator (EWGA) after removing the bolts (A).
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 Ib-ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.
