DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to battery in motor position sensor power circuit of SBW actuator
  3. SBW actuator position sensor input power circuit open circuit or short circuit to ground
  4. Faulty the SBW actuator
  5. Faulty the SCU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" or engine "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Motor position sensor input voltage is greater than 4.8 volts
Detecting Time
  • 0.4 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
