Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN communication monitoring
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in CAN communication line
  3. Faulty ESP/ESC
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Battery voltage is above 10V
Threshold Value
  • ESP/ESC CAN timeout (ESP/ESC or WSS alive counter error) is detected
Detecting Time
  • 2.1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
