  • Signal plausibility check with lean mixture (during fuel cut-off)
  1. Poor connection or harness damage
  2. HO2S contamination
Prerequisite Condition
  • Downstream O2 Sensor operative readiness is detected.
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V.
  • Integrated mass air flow since last fuel cut-off is greater than 500g.
  • Integrated mass air flow since the fuel cut-off begins is between 12g and 250g.
Threshold Value
  • Downstram HO2S voltage is higher than 0.2V during fuel cut-off phase.
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 Seconds
