DTC Information and Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
Main Action
  • Check HO2S signal amplitude
  1. Leakage in intake or exhaust system
  2. Poor connection or harness damage
  3. HO2S contamination
Prerequisite Condition
  • HO2S operative readiness is detected with sensor tip temperature over 640°C (1184°F).
  • HO2S forced simulation is functioning
  • DTC P042000 (Catalyst diagnosis) monitoring is activated with DTC P013300 monitoring synchronized
Threshold Value
  • Integral (Lambda signal amplitude measured/Lambda signal amplitude of a slow sensor) is greater than 1.0.
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 Lambda Controller Cycles
MIL-On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
