DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit Malfunction
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to battery in encoder signal circuit of SBW actuator
  3. Faulty SBW actuator
  4. Faulty SCU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" or engine "ON"
  • Battery voltage is above 10V
Threshold Value
  • If the motor encoder A, B signal voltage is more than 7.4V
Detecting Time
  • 0.4s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
