Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Lift the vehicle.
  3. Remove the wheel & tire and wheel house cover.
  4. Disconnect the canister close valve connector (A).
  5. Disconnect the fuel tank air filter and vent hose (B).
  6. Loosening the mounting bolts (C), and then remove the fuel tank air filter.

  7. Lifting the fixed part (A) and then rotating fuel tank air filter (B) 30 degrees in the direction of the clockwise.
  8. Separate the canister close valve from fuel tank air filter.
