Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Loosen the TCM upper mounting bolts (A).
Tightening torque: 9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.6 lb-ft)
- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Disconnect the TCM connector (A).
- Loosen the wiring bracket mounting bolts (A).
Tightening torque: 9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.6 lb-ft)
- Remove the TCM (C) after loosening the mounting bolts (A, B).
Tightening torque:
- 9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.6 lb-ft)
- 7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb-ft)
